- Q1.How do I care for the fabric?
- A1.Please read our materials page which tells you about each different fabric and wood.
- Q2.How long will delivery take?
- A2.Depends where you live. But usually between one and two weeks.
- Q3.How much is delivery?
- A3.We deliver our chairs with Fedex, we trust them to deliver your purchase in good condition. Delivery of a deck chair to Canada is $22, to the US it is $35. We pay a yearly bond so customers in the US do not get stung with a customs fee.
- Q4.How do I keep up to date on your new products?
- A4.Please sign up to our mailing list (found on the bottom of every page) and follow us on Twitter and join our Facebook group. We also have a blog.
- Q5.Can I rent your chairs for a function?
- A5.Yes, we carry stock of a number of rent-able chairs. Please email or call us for details.
- Q6.How does the donation work?
- A6.For each purchase of a Gallant & Jones deckchair we donate a tree to be planted by the Love Trees program.
- Q7.Are there any weight restriction?
- A7.Our chairs have been tested according to BIFMA standards and have been found to withstand a weight of 250 lbs of repeated use if seated gently.
- Q8.Can I leave my chair outside all year round?
- A8.Even though the chair has been treated with an eco friendly teak oil 'yacht' stain, for superior outdoor and UV protection, it is always best to store it under cover and keep it out of the rain. It folds flat and is easy to store. The fabric and pillow on our Garden deck chairs is easily removable, we suggest you also take those inside for prolonged use.
- Q9.Can we buy extra fabric and pillow sets?
- A9.Yes, we offer fabric only sets for all our Garden deck chairs.
- Q10.Can I buy your chairs if I live outside North America?
- A10.If you live outside North America please contact us by email and we will notify you of your shipping costs and help you process your order.
- Q11.What kind of Warranty do you offer?
- A11.We offer a three year warranty on our deck chairs and footstools, this will cover structural damage of the joints due to manufacturing defects, we do not cover any wear and tear, we will however always fix or renew your deck chairs for a small fee. There is also a one year warranty on fabric which strictly covers the sewing and not wear and tear due to use.
- Q12.What if I get my items and the colours don't match and I want to send them back? Do you have a return policy?
- A12.If you receive your chairs and they're not what you expected, you can send them back to us and we will return your money, as long as the items were not used in any way. We will only charge you for the shipping.
- Q13.How heavy are your chairs? Can I easily move them around?
- A13.Yes, our chairs are 10 lbs and can easily be carried to the beach or transported around your backyard.
- Q14.I am a store owner and would like to sell your chairs in our store. Is that possible?
- A14.Yes, we do have a wholesale range of chairs. Please email us and we'll send you our wholesale sheet with policies.
